What Information Does The Druze Foundation Collect?
The information we gather from users enables us to personalize and improve our services and to allow our users to set up a user account and profile that can be used to interact with other users through the Service. The Druze Foundation uses potentially personally identifiable information collected from you to complete your registration to the Site. To register for the Site, you must enter an email, a Password chosen by you. You may put in, but not required for registration, First Name and Username, Member Type, About me, Country, State, City / Town. You will have the option to make your profile private in your Account Settings. Upon registering on the Site, you consent to receiving an email for the purpose of confirming your registration.
To be able to view, post, comment, like/dislike a post, send messages, bookmark posts, vote in a poll, or generally interact on the Site, you must be registered on the Site and logged in.
Unregistered Users have limited access to the Site but may be able to post to the Site without Registration.
Please ensure your privacy settings upon registering on the Site.
Users of The Druze Foundation are able to post about various topics and subjects. The posts ranging from plain text, links, pictures, etc. This information can be accessible to other Users of The Druze Foundation and in some cases, indexed by search engines. These posts are identifiable by your Username. As such, The Druze Foundation urges you to be sensitive about personal information you do not want publicly accessed. If you do request to delete your account, The Druze Foundation may keep this information for the sole purpose of content but will do its best to disassociate the information to make the information personally identifiable.
Non Personally Identifiable Information Collected Automatically:
We receive and store certain types of information whenever you interact with our Site. The Druze Foundation is specifically geared to an age group that is of Foundation age. The Druze Foundation does not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from anyone under the age of 13 or knowingly allow such persons to register with The Druze Foundation. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under age 13, we take steps to remove that information.
DELETING/MODIFYING YOUR ACCOUNT
Should you ever decide to delete or modify your The Druze Foundation account, you may do so by contacting The Druze Foundation at [email protected] If you terminate your account, your profile will be removed from the site and deleted from The Druze Foundation’s servers. Because of the way we maintain The Druze Foundation, such deletion may not be immediate, and residual copies of your profile information or posts may remain on backup media for up to ninety (90) days.
What Choices Do I Have?
It is your choice what information you share or do not share with The Druze Foundation Users. While The Druze Foundation will have your university email address, this information need not be available to the Users. It is possible to remain anonymous while using the Site.
